Ivan Klimenko

Ivan Klimenko was born in Belarus in 1951. He graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. A member of the Union of Artists of Belarus since 1985, he is an Associate Professor teaching painting at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Since 1977, Klimenko has regularly participated in national, all-Union, and international exhibitions, and has held solo exhibitions in European countries, Canada, and the United States. Ivan Klimenko's works are held in the National Art Museum of Belarus, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Belarus, the Palace of Independence of the Republic of Belarus, the National Library of Belarus, as well as in municipal and private collections in Austria, Germany, the USA, Canada, France, Israel, Russia, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and Italy.
